The gyros was extremely tasty and tasted better to me than many other Greeks in Münster.

Unfortunately, our experience at Piraeus was very bad. We came into the restaurant and were greeted warmly. We were allowed to choose a place and decided on a window seat. After a short time we noticed that the place was on the heating and there was no trace of fresh air. Fortunately you had a window seat and could open the window on "tilt" ... Wouldn't it be the innkeeper who closed the window without comment after 2 minutes and pointed out to us that it would get cold. When we answered that it was unbearably warm here, he offered us no space away from the heating and simply left without comment. It was definitely not a good start, but we still wanted to give the food a chance. When the food came we were expecting 2. Full plates of really delicious food. During the meal we remarked again that it was really unbearably warm here, but he went ignorant and did not take our "complaint" seriously, although we politely pointed it out to him. The conversation was generally friendly. In the end we paid appropriately and ate quickly because it was no longer bearable. we would have liked to have had a little something and would have remained sitting, unfortunately the landlord did not try to improve the situation and it was also noticed on our neighboring table that it was not just our feeling of warmth. Addendum: The decision whether we would come back was then banned from us

We were in this restaurant with a voucher book. It was a tense atmosphere between the owner / boss and the guest. We didn't feel welcome. We ordered different starters and main courses, in my opinion poor quality and overpriced. With the starters there was cheap bread from the discounter, does not match the Greek cuisine, would have expected more freshness and lightness. Restaurant is very dark and loveless and reduced. Self-portrayal by the owner annoying, it does not have to compel the orders loudly to the counter at a distance of 10 meters, so the order is typed into the cash register ... One-time visit, has no persuasive power! There are better Greek localities in Münster.

Ate yesterday in Piraeus for the first time. Great, friendly staff And the boss can also personally greet you. After we had placed the order, as with many Greeks, the ouzo came on the house, but of course that's not natural. The menu was very extensive. The food was super tasty and decent portions but not over the top. Everyone will be satisfied! So, that's why 5 stars and we'll be back. Thank you very much.
